With Saturday being cutdown day around the National Football League, the Colts had some work to do. Among the biggest move the team made was that of releasing running back DeDe Dorsey. Many felt that Dorsey would be the main backup to new workhorse back Joseph Addai, but it now looks like with the way the roster is shaping up, that job will go to CFL star Kenton Keith. The team will likley check the list of other backs released, and may make a move in this department.
The team also released DEs Bo Schobel and Ryan LaCasse. Schobel and LaCasse both spent significant time on the Colts’ roster last season. Other players released were LB Brandon Archer, QB Josh Betts, DB Duane Coleman, DB Tanard Davis, TEd Matt Farbotko, TE Jonny Harline, LB KaMichael Hall, OG Joe Lobdell, DT Ramel Meekins, DB Antonio Perkins, TE Gijon Robinson, WR Trent Shelton, WR John Standeford, WR Craphonso Thorpe, OG Matt Ulrich, DB Scott Ware, OG Sam Wilder and LB Victor Worsley.
