NFL Elites Meet In Indy

Tom Brady, left, chats with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning after the Patriots beat the Colts 27-24 on Sept. 9, 2004

One team will come away with its first loss of the season this Sunday when the 7-and-0 Colts host the 8-and-0 Patriots at the RCA Dome.  The NFL’s two most potent offenses will be on display in Week Nine.  The Patriots rank first in the league in points, yards and passing yards-per-game and have not scored less than 34 points all season.  New England clobbered the Washington Redskins 52-7 last week.  Tom Brady has thrown for 2,431 yards and 30 touchdowns already this season while tossing just two interceptions.  The Colts come in ranked third in the league in points and yards-per-game.  In Week Eight, Indianapolis blew out the Carolina Panthers 31-7.  On the season, Peyton Manning has 1,833 passing yards to go with 13 touchdowns and three interceptions.  The two teams met in last year’s AFC Championship Game, with the eventual Super Bowl champion Colts winning 38-34 in Indy.

Is it just me or is Belechick a complete jerk? I cannot believe the way that he behaves after the games. What an idiot!!! He won the game okay???? Just win with some grace and not like a New England Snob!! I know, win like Tony Dungy does. With style. Dungy goes looking for him after the game and he snubs him off!!! Some class act he is! And he cheats!!

  2. Lynne not to worry. The colts and Patriots will more than likely meet again – with different results. And yes I agree – Belichick is a jerk.
