No Doubt – Monday’s a Must Win for the Colts

If the Colts want to make a run at the AFC South title and better yet – just a shot at the 08 playoffs, it has to start this week at Tennessee vs the undefeated Titans. At 6-0, the Titans already hold a three-game lead over the Colts, and a win over Indy on Monday night would put the Colts four games back. Despite it being early in the year, it’s not early enough for some panic to set in on a team that is just 3-3 and looks to be going nowhere fast.

Sunday’s loss to the Packers was ulgy on a lot of levels. Bad turnovers, poor tackling, and just the overall effort has to be in question after a 20-point loss to a team that many felt they would be able to beat. It was just another frustrating loss by a team that seems to be in cirlces right now when it comes to wins and losses.

The biggest question heading into this week will be the obvious – what Colts team will show up in Tennessee on Monday night? Will it be the team that pounded the Ravens at home two weeks ago, or the team that bumbled and stumbled through the 34-14 loss to the Packers on Sunday?

The team has to have a fast start vs the Titans, and has to do whatever they can to stop the running game of LenDale White and Chris Johnson. That’s the start, from there, pressure Kerry Collins and try and force some turnovers. If they can do that, it will be the start of what has quickly turned into a must win for a team on the rocks.
