During the NFL.com Companion Broadcast of the Colts-Jags game, Adam Schefter of NFL Network pointed out that the Colts could very well part ways with receiver Marvin Harrison, who was injured for much of the 2007 season and has faded in effectiveness this year, after the season. The problem is that, per Schefter, the Colts are already projected to be $2 million or more over the 2009 salary cap. With 2010 currently set to have no salary cap, it will be more difficult to restructure deals in order to free up cap space in the last season with a salary cap and, as Schefter points out, cutting Harrison would free up $7 million.
