Colts Announce Playoff Activities

The 2009 Indianapolis Colts are getting ready for the AFC Championship game versus the New York Jets.  In preparation, the Colts will host a week of Playoff Pep Rallies giving fans an opportunity to “Make It Personal” with the organization.

On Tuesday, January 19, the Indianapolis Colts will be visiting College Mall in Bloomington, Indiana to host a Blue Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Blue Tuesday at College Mall will include appearances and autographs by Colts Cheerleaders and Blue the Colts mascot.  Fans will also have a chance to pick up a free collector’s edition Playoff poster and register to win Colts AFC Championship Playoff tickets and a RCA Flat Screen TV.  Live music will be provided inside the mall by “Corey Cox.”

On Wednesday, January 20, the Indianapolis Colts will be visiting Jefferson Mall in Louisville, Kentucky to host a Blue Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Blue Wednesday at Jefferson Mall will also include appearances and autographs by Colts Cheerleaders and Blue the Colts mascot.  Fans will also have a chance to pick up a free collector’s edition Playoff poster and register to win Colts AFC Championship Playoff tickets and a RCA Flat Screen TV.  Live music will be provided inside the mall by “Corey Cox.”

On Thursday, January 21, the Indianapolis Colts will host a FREE Pep Rally at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Pep Rally will be from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., fans may start entering the stadium at 5:00 p.m. The Pep Rally will include special Colts guest speakers, appearances and autographs by Colts Cheerleaders and Blue the Colts mascot.  Fans will also have a chance to pick up a free collector’s edition Playoff poster and register to win Colts AFC Championship Playoff tickets and a RCA Flat Screen TV.  Live music will be provided inside Lucas Oil Stadium. Fans may park in Tire Barn South Lot, just south of Lucas Oil Stadium, for FREE. The fans may enter into Lucas Oil Stadium through the hhgregg Gate and Lucas Oil gates only.

The Colts will host a Blue Friday, brought to you in part by Bud Light which is Tailgate Tested, Tailgate Approved, at the Circle Centre Mall 3rd floor food court on Friday, January 22, from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Fans will have a chance to listen to live music by “Dave and Rae,”, check out the Dan Dakich show on 1070 The Fan, get autographs from Colts alumni players, Cheerleaders and Blue the Colts Mascot, receive a free collector’s edition Playoff poster and register to win Colts AFC Championship Playoff tickets and a RCA Flat Screen TV.  Colts alumni players scheduled to appear include Joe Staysniak and Barry Krauss.

The Indianapolis Colts are asking their fans to “Help a Hoosier” and LIVE UNITED by supporting their local United Way office at each Playoff event. Fans can drop off cash donation at the United Way table located at each event.  Every donation will help United Way provide much-needed programming and resources to Hoosiers in need.  For more than 35 years, the NFL and United Way have partnered to strengthen communities across America.  Locally, the Indianapolis Colts are strong supporters of United Way and collaborate on numerous programs that touch the lives of thousands every year.  For more information on United Way, visit http://www.liveunited.org/.

On Friday, January 22, Colts Cheerleaders and staff will host a free collector’s edition Playoff poster “drive-thru” at Meijer stores in Avon, Carmel, on Southport Road and on East Washington Street from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.  Colts fans picking up a Playoff poster may also register to win AFC Championship Playoff tickets.  One pair of tickets will be given away from each Meijer location.  To register, fans need to bring a card (business sized) with the following information: Name, Address, Phone and Email.  This register to win card should be given to the Colts staff administering the “drive-thru”.  Winners will be contacted same day by noon.

Also, Friday, January 22, Colts fans may pick up a free collector’s edition poster at Huntington Bank and select Sprint and Indiana Toyota locations, while supplies last.  Fans should log onto http://www.huntington.com/ to find Huntington Bank store locations and hours and visit www.Colts.com/playoffs for Sprint and your Central Indiana Toyota dealership locations.
