Stover Becomes Oldest Player To Advance To Super Bowl

The Baltimore Sun states that kicker Matt Stover is now the oldest player that will kick in a Super Bowl:

Matt Stover, the Ravens’ long-time kicker who now with the Indianapolis Colts, becomes the oldest player in NFL history to advance to the Super Bowl. Stover, who kicked for the Ravens from 1996 to 2008, turns 42 on Wednesday. He has made all five of his field goals in the playoffs this season, including all three in Sunday’s 30-17 win over the New York Jets in the AFC championship game.
