Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian says he expects to reach a deal with Peyton Manning before the quarterback’s current contract expires.
At a charity golf tournament in Batavia, N.Y., on Monday, Polian called it “likely” the two sides would agree to new terms before Manning’s deal expires after the 2010 season. Colts owner Jim Irsay has called Manning’s contract one of this summer’s biggest priorities and has said he will make Manning the league’s highest-paid player.
