More on T.O.

There’s more stuff of T.O. and the Colts and how well it could work. Read this article by Colts’ writer Ryan Michael.

Also, Aaron Pierce made a nice comment to that article…take a look:

I actually am with you on this one. I think it makes sense in the fact that:
1. He’s the best available period right now

2. Reggie Wayne is holding out, and this could be great leverage either way on him to play (and having Owens would relieve pressure on his side massively) or force a trade. Can you imagine Wayne/Owens????

3. Owens has NEVER had an A+ guy throwing to him EVER. Can you imagine how that would go down? MAGIC!!

4. No way is he gonna cause problems with Peyton as this is his LAST chance at a real opportunity to start with anyone with age as a factor sadly to say. Whoever he lands with, it’s gotta be written in the stars that this works, as whether it’s his fault or not, he will be the scapegoat for unproductive…mark it down I said it.

5. None of the young guys are at his level yet even at 36 and none are #2 options to me, and he would be a great mentor to step up and help Garcon, Gonzalez, and Collie become the players they will be of the future. From day 1 he makes these young guys better just from being there as they will step up their play as well.

He immediately makes an already good receiving corps better! Will it happen? Doubtful, but having him on board for less than what he’s asking would be incredible, which would happen as he wants a ring to add to his legacy. The guy’s in better shape than most guys 10 years younger and he’s ALWAYS a play away from being a threat & everybody knows it. I’m sure the haters would say otherwise but reality is, if the guy’s on the field, he commands respect and I wouldn’t play him soft. I think he could be a real help to an already amazing team!! I think he’s a great player, and have personally felt that with all the thugs out there in REAL trouble off the field, his so called locker room issues are really paled compared to guys like Santonio Holmes, and Chris Henry (RIP) with their legal troubles. I feel this is a smart move for the right price, and Terrell would jump at the opportunity to show he still has a BIG season( or 2) left in him with the right pieces in place. I’m a big Colts fan and would love to see this actually.
