Season Over for Undrafted Rookie Cornerback Jordan Hemby

The Colts have announced that undrafted rookie cornerback Jordan Hemby will miss the 2010 season after tearing an ACL during Thursday night’s pre-season loss to the Buffalo Bills. Most of Hemby’s playing time at the University of North Carolina came on special teams or as a nickel/dime cornerback. Injuries, including a torn left ACL, limited Hemby to just one season (2008) as a starter, during which he posted 49 tackles with three passes defensed and three forced fumbles. Prior to his injury, Hemby (5-11, 190) had a pair of tackles this pre-season. Hemby was injured covering a punt in the first quarter.
