DT Fili Moala Arrested for DUI

Colts defensive tackle Fili Moala was arrested early this morning and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Moala was pulled over for speeding at 2:11am on North Illinois Street, and police say Moala admitted to having “five or six drinks” and registered a blood-alcohol level of .10, above the legal limit of .08.

In addition to DUI, Moala was charged with public intoxication and speeding.

The 56th overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft out of USC, Moala appeared in 10 games last season, totaling 7 tackles. Moala had a pair of tackles in the Colts’ 30-28 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals last night.
