RB Devin Moore wins kick return job

Running back Devin Moore has won the teams job to return kicks:

Colts running back Devin Moore prevailed in a preseason competition to be their return specialist and survived the cut. “I’m having a good day,” Moore said. “I was very nervous. I had my phone. . . . I didn’t know if they were going to call me to let me know either/or, or just weren’t going to call. I was just looking for any 317 (area code) number. Unless you were one of my absolutely closest friends or my mother or my brothers, you didn’t get me.” Moore’s elation was matched by the disappointment felt by Brandon James, an undrafted rookie out of Florida, and Ray Fisher, a seventh-round draft pick out of Indiana. Each battled with Moore to handle the return duties for the Colts. Each was among 23 players who were waived. James and Fisher flashed return potential during the preseason, but each also lost a muffed punt.
