Colts a Lock for Sunday showdown in Jacksonville

Here we are two days away from the Colts looking to go 3-1 on the season, and no one seems to be giving their opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars a shot to win at home vs Peyton and the boys.

When it comes to sports betting, the Colts are a firm 7 point favorite, and have been since the odds opened last week. Many feel that the Colts high powered offense will be more than enough to bury the Jags brittle defense that was torn apart last week by the Eagles at home as well.

Jacksonville as major issues as well on offense, as their head coach, Jack Del Rio, wants more than anything it seems to get David Garrard on the bench and to insert new QB Trent Edwards, who was picked up this past week from the free agent market. Edwards was dumped from the Bills roster, and may need a week or two before he is ready to run the Jags offense.

The Colts should and will win this game. Look for Manning and his band of WR’s to open up and make some big plays, and the run game of Joseph Addai and Donald Brown to wear out the Jags. While it might be close for about a quarter and a half, the Colts are the superior team and will win here. Indianapolis 27 Jacksonville 13
