Another Injury blow – WR Collie to miss a few weeks after hand surgery

The Injuries just keep coming for the Colts, as now without TE Dallas Clark and RB Joseph Addai, the team is also going to be without WR Austin Collie.

The team’s second-leading receiver will miss at least the next several games as he underwent hand surgery today. “How quickly he returns is up to Mother Nature,’’ a source told the Indy Star, “but he should be back at some point.’’

Collie was having a breakout season with 44 receptions and 503 yards, and was first on the team with six touchdown catches.

The team learned Wednesday that they would be without Clark indefinitely with a hand/wrist injury, and Addai would probably miss a few weeks with a shoulder injury. Now Collie can be added to that list as well.
