Mathis Says Goodell Has Lost Players During Lockout

The Indy Star has a piece today about Robert Mathis giving an earful to commish Roger Goodell.

There’s no telling when the NFL work stoppage might end and 2011 games begin, but the winning and losing won’t wait, according to Robert Mathis. “I know you can never take business personal but I think its safe to say that Goodell has totally lost his players during this whole process,” the Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl defensive end tweeted. Mathis’ contention is based on his perception that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is the owners’ commissioner. “Every team asked him ‘who does he work for’ and he danced around that question better than a Dancin wit the stars champ!” Mathis tweeted. “This process revealed he is only 4 owners when he has came to all 32 teams and told us personally that he works for both sides.”
