2010 Look Back – Peyton Wins Second Battle of the Mannings in 38-14 Win

Today it’s week two of our 2010 look back, as the Colts got back on track after a week one loss, and returned home for a prime time battle between the Mannings, as Peyton crushed younger bro Eli and the Giants 38-14.

The Indianapolis Colts rocked, destroying the New York Giants in a 38-14 rout victory. Indianapolis, with their strong combination of running the ball and passing to create an unstoppable offensive attack, made the Giants look like small, terrified midgets as Peyton Manning repeats his victory as the “Manning Bowl” winner. Last time these two faced was in 2006,as the score was a 26-21 win. Now the victory is a 19-point difference.

The game wasn’t even a contest. By halftime, it was already 24-0 and Eli Manning didn’t even hit 25 yards passing. After a touchdown by the Giants, the Colts would get them on their next possession, where Robert Mathis caused a fumble and Fili Moala recovered it for six points the other to gain a 31-7 lead.

Though Manning really took it to Eli and the Giants, it all goes down that it is just a game. Manning probably cares more for his brother than this victory.
