RB Javarris James Arrested For Marijuana Possession

Colts running back Javarris James was arrested Thursday night by the Fort Myers Police Department on a misdemeanor charge for possession of marijuana. James went undrafted out of the University of Miami last spring but quickly signed a deal with the Colts, where his cousin Edgerrin James is the franchise’s all-time leading rusher with 9,226 yards. The Colts cut Javarris James at the end of training camp, and he spent time on practice squads with New England and Washington. James’ big break came in early October when the injury-riddled Colts called on him to play in their backfield. James appeared in 10 games for the Colts last season, scoring six rushing touchdowns.
