Anderson University Still Planning To Host Colts for Camp

Despite the uncertainty of the NFL lockout, Anderson University is still planning to host the Colts’ training camp this summer, Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports.

“At this point in time, the city of Anderson is planning on them being here July 31,” Anderson city councilman Art Pepelea said on Tuesday. “Everything is moving forward. Everything is a go on our end.”

The Colts returned to Anderson in 2010 after spending the previous 12 summers training at Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Anderson University hosted the Colts from 1984-1998. According to Chappell, the Colts and Anderson University may have finalized a five-year training camp contract.
