The Colts got a little healthier today, as Reggie Wayne is back with the team, and also WR Austin Collie is back as well.
Five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Reggie Wayne returned to the Indianapolis Colts today after being away from the team for almost a week because of a personal matter.
The team would not elaborate on his absence since last Wednesday, which included Friday’s 16-3 home preseason loss to Washington. Colts coach Jim Caldwell said Wayne is expected to practice this afternoon.
“It was a personal issue,” Caldwell said. “That’s probably as far as it needs to go really. That’s a thing of it, all of us need our space sometimes. Not everything is for public consumption.”
Wide receiver Austin Collie, who missed the last game with a knee injury, has also returned to practice this week.
