The Indianapolis Star speculates that the thought of Jim Irsay going after Jeff Fisher and allowing Fisher to help pick a GM is a possibility.
Wherever Fisher lands, the GM is likely going to be sitting in the co-pilot’s seat when it comes to the decision-making in Indy, St. Louis or whatever team he coaches.
Fisher also has a good relationship with Peyton Manning, and once even caught plenty of flak for wearing a Manning jersey and saying he “wanted to feel like a winner,” to introduce former Colts coach Tony Dungy at a charity event, just two days after his 0-6 Titans were wiped out 59-0 in New England.
Fisher in Indy would certainly be interesting and it would put him back in the AFC South, where, of course, he has his most famliarity.
