A pair of NFC East personnel executives have emerged as candidates for the Colts general manager job. According to Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times, Giants Director of College Scouting Marc Ross is interviewing with the Colts today.
Ross has been with the Giants for the last five seasons after spending three seasons in the Bills’ scouting department. Ross previously spent seven seasons with the Eagles, including four seasons as their college scouting director.
In 2010, Ross interviewed for the Seattle Seahawks job that ultimately went to John Schneider.
Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports the Colts have requested permission from the Cowboys to interview Director of Player Personnel Tom Ciskowski, who has been in Dallas organization since 1992 and has headed up their college and pro scouting departments the last four seasons.
The Colts fired Bill and Chris Polian earlier this week. In addition to Ross and Ciskowski, the team is interested in director of player personnel Eric DeCosta (Baltimore), Les Snead (Atlanta), and Ryan Grigson (Philadelphia)
