Colts Ink Free Agent Safety Tom Zbikowski to a Three-Year Deal

The Colts have officially announced that they have signed free agent safety Tom Zbikowski to a three-year contract.

Originally agreed to on Friday, the deal became official after Zbikowski passed a physical on Saturday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reports the deal is worth just under $5.5 million over three seasons.

A 2008 third-round pick out of Notre Dame, Zbikowski has started 14 of 53 games over the last four seasons, totaling 88 tackles, one sack and two interceptions with four passes defensed. Zbikowski has also averaged 21.8 yards on 14 kick returns and 6.3 yards on 16 punt returns in his career.
