OC Pep Hamilton To Stay With The Colts Following Vanderbilt Interview

Pep Hamilton

After interviewing on Thursday for the head-coaching post at Vanderbilt University, Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton has reportedly removed his name from consideration for the job, Stephen Holder of the Indianapolis Star reports.

The news, first reported by CBSSports.com, means Hamilton will remain with the Colts, giving them a second season to grow in his offensive scheme.

The prospect of Hamilton leaving was not a positive for Luck and the Colts’ young offense. It would have meant the Colts would have been forced to install a third offense in as many seasons. Instead, the continuity Hamilton’s apparent decision brings is priceless.
