Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts are fresh off of back to back 11-5 seasons, as well as an AFC South division title in 2013. Looking ahead to 2014, the Colts will aim to have more of a balance on both sides of the ball, as they try to remain the class of the division and take another step forward in the playoffs.
If they’re going to get even better in 2014, the Colts will need to be more consistent on the road, where they’ll be taking on the likes of the Browns, Steelers, Broncos, Cowboys and Giants. Luck and co. got the better of a battle with Peyton Manning and the Broncos a year ago in Indy, but their second battle should prove to be a lot tougher on the road. Overall, the Indianapolis Colts schedule on the road isn’t easy, so they’ll need to pull off a few upsets to stay ahead of the playoff curve.
It actually doesn’t get any easier at home for the Colts in 2014, as they have to take on the Ravens, Bengals, Patriots, Eagles and Redskins. With Washington as the only non-playoff team at home away from the division, the Indianapolis Colts schedule for 2014 should be rather difficult.
