Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Monday the team has ruled Andrew Luck out for Week 2 against the Cardinals, ESPN reports.
Luck will not practice this week, according to Pagano, who said he hasn’t made a decision as to whether Scott Tolzien or Jacoby Brissett will start under center.
The Colts still have not released a definitive timetable for Luck’s return from his January shoulder surgery.
Tolzien started Sunday’s season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Rams and struggled, passing for just 128 yards and throwing two interceptions. Brissett entered the game in the fourth quarter and passed for 51 yards.
