Andrew Luck’s Date to Return From a Calf Injury Still Up in the Air

A timetable for Andrew Luck’s return to the practice field remains up in the air, Joel Erickson of the Indianapolis Star reports.

Luck, who suffered a setback with the calf strain he’s been battling since April in the first four days of training camp, missed all three morning practices this week, as expected.

The franchise quarterback will talk about how he’s feeling with the coaching staff on Friday, an off day for the Colts. Until then, no plans have been set for Luck’s weekend.

“I don’t know,” Colts head coach Frank Reich said. “Haven’t even talked about it.”

Luck hasn’t been spotted at practice, but he has been rehabilitating the injury out of sight.

“He’s getting some good work,” Reich said. “First of all, some good rehab, and then he’s inside throwing with Tom House, that’s been really good. He’s put some of that on tape, so we have a chance to look at that, and that’s been really positive.”
