Former Colt Arrested

From Indy Star:

A judge has sentenced a former Indianapolis Colts and Purdue University football player to two years on probation after his guilty pleas in two cases.

Chijioke Nwokorie, 35, pleaded guilty to felony confinement in one case in which a longtime friend alleged that he sexually assaulted her two years ago. He also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor battery in a case brought after police said he threw a woman to the ground in November at the door of a Downtown Indianapolis club.

Marion Superior Court Judge Mark Stoner sentenced Nwokorie on Friday, according to court records.

The judge ordered Nwokorie to perform 200 hours of community service and undergo counseling. The felony conviction could be reduced to a misdemeanor later.
